Traditional and homemade Christmas dishes at Bristol Grill
Bristol Grill is one of Oslo’s oldest and most prestigious restaurants, and from 10 November to 23 December 2026, we are serving traditional homemade Christmas dishes. The menu features lutefisk, lamb ribs and a pork rib plate, along with other traditional starters and desserts prepared in-house.

Private room at Bristol Grill
For those who prefer more privacy, we have two elegant rooms: a private room that accommodates up to 16 people and a private wine room for up to 10 people. Both rooms have dark wood, comfortable chairs and dimmed lighting. The wine room is surrounded by wine cabinets and inspires long conversations, authentic flavours and a warm ambiance.

Christmas lunch for the entire family
On Sunday 29 November and 6, 13 and 20 December, we are opening the doors to the banquet rooms on the second floor, where we are serving a traditional Christmas buffet that includes a dessert buffet. Santa will be stopping by with gifts for the children.

On Thursday 24 December, we are serving a traditional Christmas dinner buffet in our beautiful banquet rooms on the second floor. Enjoy a decorated Christmas tree, beautifully set tables and genuine Christmas spirit in historic surroundings. The buffet features traditional Christmas favourites and seasonal ingredients, followed by a dessert buffet with sweet Christmas temptations. Whether you’re celebrating with family or friends and looking for an intimate Christmas Eve experience in the city, our elegant banquet rooms guarantee a peaceful and sophisticated setting for the holidays.
Doors open at 5 pm. The buffet is open from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Doors close at 9:30 pm.
